2022 Pride Parade and Festival

Saturday, October 22rd, 2022

October 22nd, 2022 will be a fabulous day as the LGBTQ+ community of North Central Florida celebrates its 29th Pride Parade and Festival. Celebrate your PRIDE with singing and dancing at the Bo Diddley Plaza in Downtown Gainesville.

This event is open to the public and we hope you join us as we celebrate our LGBTQIA+ family. Scroll down to see all the ways you can participate!

Volunteer

Everyone at Pride Community Center is a volunteer from the board members to the folks who manage our many programs to the folks who answer the phones. The Gainesville Pride Parade and Festival is planned, organized, and staffed completely by fabulous volunteers. If you can work a few hours or an entire day, we can use your help.

You don’t have to be LGBTQ+ to volunteer at the Festival, you just have to be fabulous!

Pride Vendor at the Festival!

The Gainesville Pride Festival is a great opportunity for vendors to support the LGBTQ+ community in North Central Florida. Over 5,000 attendees are expected to visit Bo Diddley Plaza for food, fun, and festivities.

We invite non-profits, community organizations, local businesses, artists, food and beverage operations, and Food Trucks to apply for one or more spots at this year’s Festival. Space is limited and we expect vendor spots will go fast. Please register early.

Pride on Parade

This is your parade and it is your chance to show off your PRIDE. You can build a float, hold flags, dance down the street, or protest. We welcome parade registrations from local businesses, community organizations, groups, clubs, friends, protesters, everyone! On the registration form, describe your entry. If we have questions, we will contact you directly.

Pride on Stage

Pride on Stage is the entertainment feature of the Gainesville Pride Festival. Performed on the stage at Bo Diddley Plaza, it displays the fabulous talents of LGBTQ+ artists. This year’s show will emphasize the diversity of the LGBTQ family as well as the joy of celebrating Pride in ourselves and in our community.

The Pride Community Center of North Central Florida is a registered 501(c)3 which prohibits us from supporting candidates or political campaigns.  Entertainers may not promote or criticize candidates or campaigns from the stage.

If you or your group or band wish to perform, please select the button below. All entertainers will be selected by our Pride on Stage Producers.
